Mennonite Mutual Selects Finys for Core System Replacement
Finys selected to replace aging core administration systems at Mennonite Mutual.
Troy, MI – August 14, 2018 – Finys, developer of the Finys Suite, a modern enterprise core administration platform for property and casualty (P&C) insurance companies, is pleased to announce that Mennonite Mutual Insurance Company (Mennonite Mutual) recently selected Finys to replace their aging core administration systems.
Founded in 1895, Mennonite Mutual provides faith-based and agribusiness policies throughout Ohio and Indiana. Mennonite Mutual prides itself on adoption and utilization of leading-edge technologies and was one of the first companies in the insurance industry to use FAA-licensed, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) pilots to deploy drones for pre-inspection of churches. In order to achieve and maintain the high levels of customer experience and satisfaction the company aspires to, Mennonite Mutual undertook an evaluation of available solutions to determine which would best facilitate modernization of the company’s core administration processes.
“We have been operating with a series of legacy systems and not getting the efficiency, speed or responsiveness that we feel reflects the core values of our company,” said Chris Blough, CEO of Mennonite Mutual. “We looked at a number of replacement options and found an ideal partner in Finys. Their depth of insurance knowledge, ease of use, past track record, and forward-thinking thoroughly impressed us.”
Mennonite Mutual and Finys teams will collaborate going forward to launch all of Mennonite Mutual’s lines of business in both states, Ohio and Indiana, on Finys Suite solutions. Mennonite Mutual is looking forward to the ease of use and operational efficiencies that Finys will bring to its processes both internally and for its agency partners.
“Mennonite Mutual wanted a solution that will bring new levels of speed and efficiency to basic administration and business processing, and that also has callouts to third-party data providers to enable application pre-fill capabilities, flexible APIs for easy integration with additional partners, and a SaaS delivery model for maximum uptime and scalability,” said Scott Hinz, director of sales at Finys. “The Finys Suite is a proven, modern core administration solution with a solid track record of delivering results for P&C insurers. We are looking forward to working with the Mennonite Mutual team on this implementation.”
The Finys Suite includes components for core administration (policy, billing and claims), as well as regulatory reporting and agent/consumer portals which support mobile access on-demand and is available as a pre-integrated suite or as standalone components.
