I’m Tim Suppes. I’m from the Wayne Insurance Group in Worcester, Ohio. We’re an insurance carrier with about 70 million in assets, and we write in Ohio only. We started working with Finys in 2014. We did a pilot project on our BOP because we didn’t have a BOP program at the time. We then started working with them and finished all the lines. We completed our conversion in 2019. For a company of our size at the time, we had limited options to consider, and then we got to know Kurt and the team here. We liked Kurt and what he was presenting to us. They weren’t a salesy company. They were, let’s get this done. And that’s what attracted us to Finys. Well, we were working at the time, and we chose Finys because we were working with three different systems, and agents couldn’t access many features.

It had limited functionality, and so Finys offered us a single platform with the functionality we needed. Before we started with Finys, we were about a $36 million company and had 40 people in what I call my operation. After the Finys Suite was implemented, we reached over 60 million and only had 43 people. We only added three people. So that’s what the automation does: it provides us with a single platform and a print solution, eliminating the manual processes we had before. So we have been able to grow without adding staff. Our working relationship with Finys is very good. We like the people. That’s important to me. It’s all about relationships, and we’ve pushed Finys. We’ve asked for some things that weren’t in the system, and they’ve delivered on those. And the key point is that our agents like the system.

That’s extremely important. When we did this, internally, we were saying this isn’t being written for you, it’s being done for the agents. And our agency force likes it. We just had some meetings with them, and then we asked ’em about the system and things that they, and there were no complaints at all. I do recommend Finys. It is something that I’ve done, and I believe in them, and I want them to be successful. I’m a tough person. I demand a lot, and they delivered on that. I’m looking for people to get the job done, and I think that’s what Finys does and has done for us.
